Imagine how flattered we were when catalogue giant Argos wanted to use our expertise. As consultants, our challenge was to discover how we could make a smaller catalogue work harder for them (their previous tests showed that a reduced pagination resulted in reduced sales – and we had to change that for them). We came up with a radically different design of catalogue that focused on driving customers online for a much wider product offering. We produced style guides as a tool for all their internal designers and external stakeholders, held training sessions and provided ongoing creative support. It’s been fantastic for two catalogue experts to work together! And we’re delighted that a staggering 18 million homes in the UK will receive our work.
