Over the past few months we’ve held various round table breakfasts to discuss the future of shopping.

Here are some things we’ve discovered…

• The majority of us are nomophobic – a fear of ‘no mobile’ connection – and it is changing the way we shop and the way we buy.

• In the UK we are changing the way we shop faster than any country in the world.

• The customer, with their smartphone to hand, is the influencer – and this is the real opportunity for brands.

• And combining technology with physical stores, or ‘clicks and bricks’ is one of the big growth areas for stores.
